Delivery Service


Delivery zones, cost and size of parcel:

  1. Thalman Estate currently mainly services the greater Cape Town CBD area and certain surrounding areas. Please feel free to contacting us if you are situated outside of the Western Cape, we would like to hear from you and assist you in any way we can to get our product to you!

  2. A delivery fee will be charged according to the area of delivery and weight of the parcel.

  3. Parcels with a maximum weight limit of 30Kg will be accepted. The 1st 15Kg will be classified under the prescribed fee. An additional fee will apply for each 1Kg over the above mentioned 15Kg to a maximum of 30Kg.

  4. For larger orders and more information regarding deliveries to a particular area or delivery fees, please feel free to contact us.

When to expect your delivery:

  1. Customers will receive an estimated delivery date (usually 2-3day turnaround time). Please note that this is not a guaranteed delivery date as certain areas may require a longer transit time period due to frequency of deliveries to these areas.

  2. When the order is ready for delivery and payment has been received, customers will be contacted, and a delivery date will be scheduled.

  3. Orders will not be sent off, until proof of payment has been received via E-mail or Fax.

  4. Deliveries will be made during the business hours of 08h00am and 16h00pm.

Preparing for your delivery:

  1. Deliveries will be made to either the customerís home or office.

  2. The Delivery Company is only responsible for delivering the parcel to the customerís requested address at the front door.

  3. Please ensure that you are present at the pre-requested address on the day of the delivery to take ownership of the delivery.

  4. In the event that the customer is not available to receive the delivery, a re-delivery fee may be applied to your order. This agreement is between Thalman Estate and the customer.

Customer responsibility:

  1. Please be sure to sign the Invoice in the presence of the ĎDelivery Company Representativeí, indicating receipt of the delivery.

  2. Examine the delivery to ensure that each item is present and no damage has occurred.

  3. In the event that an item/ items have gone missing or goods are damaged, please retain the parcel, indicate the problem on the Invoice, and contact Thalman Estate within 24-hours of the delivery.

  4. Please note that for protection of the customer and Thalman Estate, a signed delivery receipt without notations of a missing, damaged or incorrect item/ items, represents the customerís acceptance of the delivery order in perfect condition.
